Bridal Trials & Consultations

Planning a destination wedding doesn’t always make an in-person bridal trial practical, but we believe every bride deserves to feel confident before her wedding day.

Depending on your location and timeline, you may choose to:

• Schedule a bridal trial before your trip
• Meet with your artist while visiting your destination before the wedding
• Schedule your bridal trial while your artist is in your area
• Begin with a complimentary phone consultation to discuss your vision and planning

What’s the Difference Between a Trial and a Consultation?

A consultation is simply a conversation. We’re always happy to schedule a complimentary phone consultation to answer questions, review inspiration photos, discuss logistics, and help plan your wedding beauty timeline.

A bridal trial is an appointment where your artist performs your hair and/or makeup before your wedding day, allowing you to perfect your look and make any adjustments in advance.

Because a bridal trial includes the same artistry, products, and dedicated appointment time as your wedding-day services, it is priced separately.

Travel & Accommodations

Every destination is different, and travel arrangements vary greatly depending on your location.

Your proposal may include:

• Airfare
• Hotel accommodations
• Ground transportation
• Rental vehicles

Parking

• Ferry transportation
• Resort fees
• Travel days
• Per diem when applicable

Everything is discussed upfront so you know exactly what to expect before booking.

Parking

Any parking fees incurred during your bridal trial, wedding day, or destination stay are the responsibility of the client. This includes hotel parking, valet, resort parking, cruise terminals, parking garages, or any other parking expenses required for our artists to access your location.

Additional Artists

One artist can typically accommodate up to eight standard services within a comfortable wedding-day timeline.

For larger parties, or if you’d simply like everyone finished earlier, we’re happy to provide additional artists.

We’ll recommend the appropriate number of artists based on your itinerary, timeline, and services requested.

Multi-Day Celebrations & Touch-Up Services

Many destination weddings are much more than a single ceremony.

Welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, sunset photo sessions, excursions, farewell brunches, post-wedding celebrations, and additional portrait sessions often mean you’ll want professional hair and makeup for more than one event.

Some couples also choose to have an artist remain on-site throughout portions of the wedding day for:

• Lipstick and makeup touch-ups
• Hair smoothing and flyaway control
• Veil placement and removal
• Hairstyle changes between the ceremony and reception
• Outfit changes
• Hair accessory changes
• Groom touch-ups
• Bridal party touch-ups

Something to Consider When Planning a Destination Wedding

One thing many couples don’t initially think about is the amount of time an artist dedicates to a destination wedding beyond the services themselves.

For a traditional local wedding, an artist may complete your services and return home that same day. They may also be available to accept another wedding or appointment the following day.

Destination weddings are different.

When an artist travels with you, whether it’s to a cruise, a resort, or another destination, they’re dedicating that time exclusively to your celebration. While they’re away, they’re unable to accept other weddings or appointments they would normally be available for.

For example, a three-day destination wedding may require your artist to reserve several consecutive days for travel, accommodations, wedding events, and the journey home. During that time, they’re fully committed to you and your celebration.

We share this simply to provide a better understanding of how destination wedding proposals are created. It’s one of the many factors we consider when preparing your personalized quote.

Early Morning & Late Evening Services

Many destination weddings include sunrise ceremonies, early photography sessions, or celebrations that continue late into the evening.

Services beginning before 8:00 AM may be subject to an early morning fee.

Services beginning after 8:00 PM may be subject to a late evening fee.

Any applicable fees will always be outlined in your personalized proposal before booking.
