Nestled in the Angeles Forest in the north San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, our combination ranch and zoo facility provides a most memorable setting for a romantic wedding in a scenic and serene countryside venue. You have your ceremony under our oak tree with the majestic Angeles mountains as your backdrop.  Your reception is in the main garden area with a dance floor and room for a band, food buffet, beverage bar and socializing. We provide seating for the ceremony and seating and tables for the reception. Choose from among hundreds of animals from our zoo to entertain your guests or even play a role in the festivities. The Lodge at Malibou Lake is an historic venue in Agoura, Southern California.  We are hidden in the rustic Santa Monica Mountains, shaded by sycamore and oak trees, and beside a storied private lake.  The Lodge is located less than an hour from downtown Los Angeles, minutes from the 101 freeway, and a step back in time from the pace of modern life.

We host superlative weddings and other milestone events. The Ballroom seats up to 180, or you may dine outdoors on the expansive Great Lawn with a view of Malibou Lake. The Lodge provides catering exclusively by Chef Cordelia and comes fully furnished with dining tables, chairs, dishware, and lounge furniture.

The Fig House was founded by Steve Fortunato (roomforty) as the first venue venture of The Hospitality Collaborative.

During the construction process, Steve Fortunato worked with HGTV darling, Emily Henderson, to design and curate the space. The venue is a contemporary spin on art-deco with a nod to the rich history of Highland Park. The stained glass windows, by Judson Studios, are a tribute to Hollywood glamour native to LA, and the paint and wallpaper (Farrow & Ball) exhibit bold, rich colors that contribute to the design.

We offer a variety of wedding and special event packages, perfect for any of life’s celebrations! Event rentals include access to the entire first floor, including the main ballroom, grand staircase, sweeping foyer, large dining room, library, full kitchen, and two outdoor patios, in addition to the upstairs mezzanines and wedding suite.
